A/G College Scholarships
The choice of where to get a college education is one of the most important decisions a teenager can make. Many times this will affect the amount of debt they begin their adult life with, who they will marry and how they will spend the majority of their adult years.
We hope you will consider receiving your education at one of the Accredited Assemblies of God Colleges or Universities. NDYM is happy to facilitate student applications for various scholarships. Please see details below and note the application deadlines.
Award Amounts: $500 Ministry Scholarship, $400 Career Scholarship, $500 Campus Missionary Scholarship APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 1 of the application year Qualifications: Must be a current high school senior active in a North Dakota Assemblies of God church and applying for enrollment to Trinity Bible College as a first time Freshman or transfer student. Evaluation Criteria: See application CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD APPLICATION Mail Application to: NDYM - 222 Woodland Ave - Devils Lake, ND 58301 Award Amounts: First - $8000 Second - $4000 Third - $2000 (National Awards) APPLICATION DEADLINE: February 1 of the application year Qualifications: Must be a current HS senior applying for enrollment in an AG college for the fall immediately after graduation. Applicants must be current ND residents. The top three applicants will be forwarded on to the nation AG office for higher education for consideration for the national award. Evaluation Criteria: Academic Achievement, Community Involvement, Church Involvement, and more CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD APPLICATION Mail Application to: NDYM - 222 Woodland Ave - Devils Lake, ND 58301 Award Amounts: Two - $30,000 Eight - $5,000 APPLICATION DEADLINE: February 15 of the application year Two scholarships of up to $30,000 each (awarded over a 4-year period) will be awarded to one male and one female high school senior who will be attending as a full time student at an Assemblies of God endorsed institution of higher education. Ten semi-finalists will be selected; the eight not chosen for the GSNS will receive one-time $5,000 scholarships to be awarded over the first two semesters he or she is enrolled in an AG school. Qualifications a. Student must demonstrate leadership potential through past and present involvement in an AG church, school, and community b. Student must have a minimum GPA of 3.7 (unweighted 4.0 scale) or an ACT score of 28/36 or an SAT score of 1870/2400 c. Student must demonstrate a dedicated walk with God and a commitment to use his or her gifts toward Kingdom expansion. d. Details: Various A/G colleges provide districts with scholarships to distribute at their selection. Any student planning to attend an A/G college can qualify for these scholarships by completing the J. Robert Ashcroft scholarship form. You can be awarded these scholarships regardless of whether you win the Ashcroft scholarship.
